Ciara D’Amico, from the Mayor's Office of Neighborhood Services, hosted an abutters meeting for 128-134 North Street, the Traffic Tunnel Administration Building. The owner, Sal Lupoli, acquired the property from the Mass DOT and is seeking zoning relief to establish a single family residence on the property.

According to a makeshift weather station cobbled together in the minutes leading up to the storm, the temperature in the North End dropped 32° in just 45 minutes Friday afternoon. That coincided with a 52% increase in humidity.

The park at Parcel 2 (dubbed "North Meadow") is now complete!

I swung by this afternoon to check it out. Other than the fact that it took me 3 minutes and 32 seconds to reach the park from the bus stop across the street on North Washington, and the exhaust and noise from traffic... the park was lovely! The flowers, seating, and signage all seemed well thought out and designed. (Especially the flowers - they really are lovely🌺)

We noticed that the public dock at Burroughs Wharf has been barricaded with plywood and a makeshift sign reading "DO NOT DOCK ANY BOATS DOCK IS DANGEROUS" had been affixed to the gangway.

Boston Fire reported smoke showing from the roof at approximately 5:45pm Wednesday evening which turned out to be a two alarm fire in the building.
