Sweet, sweet nectar of summer tube running from the truck on Commercial Street to the pool
Workers were busy shuttling water from Methuen to the North End to fill up the Mirabella Pools on Wednesday night. They told us it will take at least 18 truck loads. I didn't get a clear answer when I asked why they trucked it in from Methuen rather than use MWRA water 🤷♀️.
The pools open on Saturday, 25 June this year. Like the last two summers, users will have to reserve a time slot the day before they plan on visiting.
