Eliot school far outperforms city, state on MCAS - mostly makes up pandemic losses
The Eliot K8 Innovation school outperformed the State and City MCAS averages by a wide margin again in 2024. In fact, more students at the Eliot school meet or exceed expectations in Math and Reading than almost any other K8 school in the state.
Further, while scores at most districts in the state and schools in Boston lag far behind the benchmarks set in 2019, the Eliot school's tests show that students have largely made up for pandemic setbacks - or were never setback in the first place.

The "brother's mansion" that the Spite House blocked
Included in Boston Public Library's Boston Pictorial Archive is a photo of 1-2 Hull Street Place from 1944. This is notable because, as far as I know, it's the only photo of the structures that existed behind the skinny house on Hull Street.
