When I grew up, it was wonderful! There weren't many cars around - you were able to play in the street.

John “Sonny” Mirabella of Boston’s North End, formerly of 190 Salem St., passed away February 3, 2024. Sonny was a North End legend and icon and will be dearly missed by all. Sonny is the loving husband of the late Marie (Sette) Mirabella. Beloved father of Richard Pasquale Mirabella of the North End, Geno Mirabella of Malden, Dante John Mirabella of the North End, and Gabrielle and Stephen Agrippino of Medford. Cherished grandfather of Dante Joseph Mirabella, Joseph Mirabella, John-Anthony Geno Mirabella and his wife Victoria, and Stephen Agrippino. Sonny is survived by his sister Leonora Sapienza and sister-in-law Lillian Mirabella; also by his canine companions, Penny and Lucky; as well as many relatives and friends.
