July 2022 NEWNC meeting agenda

Agenda includes:

• 47-48 Snow Hill – Proposal by owner to construct new 1-story vertical addition and roof deck on existing three-story building. This is a continuation from the May meeting in which several abutters expressed opposition to the project. The Council President suggested that both sides make an attempt to come to a compromise before coming back to the council for a vote. Read about the previous meeting in the May 2022 NEWNC meeting summary.
• 17 Sheafe Street – Proposal to change occupancy from a six-unit residential dwelling to a seven-unit residential dwelling and renovate as per plans.
• 101-117 Atlantic Avenue – Proposal to change occupancy of the 5,577 square foot former ground floor restaurant "The Living Room" to KinderCare "Day Care Center". Renovate and connect to adjacent existing 1,548 sf "Day Care Center" and add handicap ramp at main entry.
