Water out from Snowhill to Hanover; BWSC: a challenging situation
Update - 10:20am 3 February
BWSC reports that water was fully restored late last night. There will be another crew onsite this afternoon to replace a valve, but service will not be impacted today.

The northwest quadrant of the North End has seen intermittent water service at best since a water main broke on Charter Street. BWSC - through councillor Coletta-Zapata's office - reports:
This has been a challenging situation heavily impacted by the weather. My apologies to you and your constituents impacted by this leak. As crews are working on the valve, customers who have water service may experience discolored or sediment in the water. While the water is safe for drinking, BWSC suggests running the water to flush some of the sediment prior to drinking.
As of 8:30pm Monday, two neighbors report water trickling from faucets - an improvement from earlier in the evening.
