Think we need more public restrooms?

Universal Hub notes a 311 report about an apparently abandoned porta potty near the Fulton Street entrance to Ausonia apartments. The kicker? People are so desperate for public restrooms that they're actually using it.

As a commenter on the Universal Hub story put it:

Gee I don't know.. that surely tells me we clearly do not have enough public bathrooms in the north end if people **willingly** use those.

Another way to look at this: Where would those people have gone had the porta potty not been there?
