NEW Health adds new primary care doctors and nurse practitioners

North End Waterfront Health (NEW Health) announced today the recent addition of new clinical staff at the North End site: Dr. Suo Lee, Dr. Brandon Luk, Nurse Practitioner Madeleine Bayne, and Nurse Practitioner Heather Patrick.

New patients are being accepted on a limited basis at this time as NEW Health continues to expand its primary care staff. More information is available by calling 617-643-8000.

NEW Health welcomes Dr. Suo Lee to the adult primary care team. The Medical College of Pennsylvania graduate specializes in Internal Medicine and before coming to NEW Health, she was an internist at Carney Hospital in Dorchester, Mass. Dr. Lee is fluent in English and Mandarin. When not working, Lee enjoys playing the piano, cooking and traveling while learning about new cultures.

Dr. Brandon Luk recently joined as a specialist in Family Medicine and Internal Medicine. Dr. Luk graduated from Tulane University School of Medicine and his prior experience includes 10 years of primary care, urgent care and hospitalist work. He is multilingual, fluent in English, Cantonese and Spanish. Dr. Luk has a passion for astronomy.

Madeleine Bayne (FNP-BC) joined the NEW Health team in late 2022 with Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from MGH institute of Health Professions. She also took part in the Family Nurse Practitioner Specialty Track program and has four years of previous experience in community-based care. Bayne is fluent in English and French.

Heather Patrick is a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics and OB-GYN. The University of Massachusetts School of Nursing graduate also completed the Post-Graduate Nurse Practitioner Residency in Community Health and Family Medicine at the Edward M. Kennedy Community Health Center in Worcester, Mass., and her doctoral research in Adolescent Substance Use Disorders is a career highlight. Patrick is also an avid runner, cook and painter.
