Process for seeking election

Why serve?

This is a personal decision and everyone has different motivations. I'll say that my short time on the Council has been deeply rewarding. Some thoughts:

  • It brings you closer and connects you to the community in which we all live.
  • The conversations expose you to different viewpoints and have made me more empathetic to various perspectives.
  • The meetings keep you informed on the goings-on in the neighborhood and provide a mechanism for your feedback.

Voting in the election

All residents aged 18 or older are welcome to vote for the candidates of their choice. The first step in supporting your candidate is to sign their Nomination Papers. The election will be held at the Nazzaro Center Saturday, May 18th from 10am - 2pm.
