Here's your chance to own the two most rare property types in the North End: Single Family and Industrial

A single family home and a large industrial property - both on North Washington Street - are up for auction.

169 North Washington Street is actually shown as a three-family home on the BPDA's map, but the auctioneer's website bills it as:

1,380+/-sf single family vacant home believed to have 7 rooms, 3 bedrooms & 1.5 baths

The home also includes a vacant lot next door currently used for car storage. There are about 15 other single family homes in the North End.

Next to that, and being auctioned separately, is the old Eastern Bakers Supply Company building at 145-155 North Washington Street. BPDA maps show it is use as "Industrial". The only other "Industrial" building in the North End is the old Edison Electric building on the corner of Salem and Prince.

Both auctions will be held next Tuesday, February 25th at 11am. You'll need $25k to put down on the house and $50k to put down on the Bakers Supply building. And you'll need to pay the balance in full within 30 days.
